My studio at the Cité Internationale des Arts will be open to the public for one evening, Wednesday 23 November. This open studio commemorates the TDOR (Trans Day of Remembrance) as well as a celebration of the new Moon in Sagittarius that will be crossing the sky that day. The archetypes of this ancient figure inhabit my current pictorial process. You are warmly invited to join in the collective ritual as we honour our transgender ancestors, and invoke the trans resilience that lies at the heart of the series of portraits that will be revealed that evening for the first time. It will be a gentle moment to bring the light back together in the night.
